The customer next to us was talking loudly on the phone, but the waiter didn't stop him, so everyone just listened to him discussing the business

The ingredients are high-quality, But without creativity, it's just sprinkling gold dust, loses the essence of Japanese omakase and is a bit similar to Chinese omakase.

The credit card machine was not working properly. I asked for a replacement machine and it took a long time to reconnect it.

The essence of omakase is to wait until the customer has finished eating before serving the next dish. He made two or three dishes at once and placed them on the side. The dishes were served very quickly, and it was impossible to fully experience the meal.

Incredible dining experience. The Chef has over 30 years experience and is a master of his craft.
The sushi and sashimi were excellent. High quality fish prepared right in front of you and the presentation is second to none. Each piece of sushi was unique, prepared with a sauce and topping to compliment each.
Reservations are recommended. A range of seasonal dinner sets between $100-200+ per person. The dinner last about an hour depending on the number of courses.
A great location for a special celebration or anniversary dinner.

This is easily the best restaurant in Cambodia and my absolute favorite in Phnom Penh! Every visit is a flawless experience. The Omakase sushi is crafted right before your eyes by a talented Japanese chef using top-quality ingredients imported directly from Japan.

Each dish is a masterpiece—perfectly fresh, expertly prepared, and bursting with flavor. The service is equally exceptional: attentive, friendly, and professional, making the entire experience truly memorable.

While it’s a bit of a splurge, the quality and experience are worth every penny. If you’re a sushi lover or enjoy fine dining, this place is a must-visit!

The decor was luxurious, the food was beautifully presented, the chef was very talkative, and the servers were attentive, always clearing the table and refilling water. The food was delicious 😋 Although Wagyu beef was the main dish, the other seafood and sashimi were also excellent.

We had a lovely wagyu dinner and an unforgetable experience. My boyfriend and I opted for the Silver six course menu. Our pre-order request was meet rather than fish and seafood, which the team acomadadated. The staff were so welcoming, they found a great vine pearing based on our preferences. We got to watch as the chef and his team prepared the delicate creations which built up our expectations. The tastes didn't disappoint. We have had wagyu before in Norway, but here we got to taste different parts of the beef as well as new combinations of flavors. We truly enjoyed our evening, telling stories and having laughs with the staff. It was sadly the last day of our trip, otherwise we would have gone again!
Leaving Cambodia the next morning we agreed the KYŌ dinner was the perfect and most unexpected ending to our beautiful vacation.

Only thing to point out to guests: Due the the pyrotechnic of the dinner the ventilation is strong which makes it a bit chilly in the restaurant. Coming in from the outdoor heat I would recommend a cardigan in case you are easily cold like me 🙂

This is a must in Phnom Penh! Enjoy 🙂
I had a good experience there
All the food was great what I like the most was welcome drink and Kyo signature dishes.
The staffs were friendly and nice.
The room was quite classic and romantic but a bit dark.
The toilet was very clean.

A unique experience hidden in an alleyway in Phnom Penh. The service and dishes were all excellent. The sous chef and his team took into account any allergies and took the time to present each dish to us in Khmer and English. Everything was done to make our experience as pleasant as possible. I had never tasted the A5 Wagyu, and it was incredible. The presentation and cooking were perfect. A small downside for the desserts which in my opinion could be a little more developed, but it is not their specialty so we will not hold it against them. A big thank you to the apprentice for his little phrases in French!
Just had the most amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend trying their Platinum set. 🍽️👌

Overall, the concept for wagyu omakase is nice. Dishes were present very nicely. But the taste wasn't really all there. Some dishes you won't even taste the beef. There are many fusion dishes, so the overall concept is very mixed up. Different flavors with different types of crusine don't always go well together.

This is a high-end restaurant offering a solo pot shabu, and I am glad they offer this in town. Thus, the service shall hold me back from dropping by again.

Begin with the security guard, in which they seem to only be grateful and care about those who came out of luxurious cars. While we were dropping by in a cab, they did not come over and bring us even an umbrella during rain, but luckily one of the guards noticed, and he came running and gave us one.

After entering the VIP room that our cousin reserved, the staff approached us but failed to provide a menu. They only mentioned two options for soup, black or white, without any further details. This place really falls short on services.

While I acknowledge that the quality of the meats, seafood, and vegetables justifies their cost, the service leaves much to be desired. The ice cream tastes great too.

a great place for when you're feeling boujee🤣 it's an affordable price since you're seated in a luxurious spacious shabu house. however, the flavors didn't match the vibes😭 for my taste, the soup was on the bland side. i reallly enjoyed the icecream and yuzu drink tho!

Very good service! Recommend everyone one to come and try their food.
Kyo never fails to impress. This new shabu format on Koh Pich is affordable, generous, and consistently delicious. The portions are really filling, the ingredients are fresh, and the soup base is rich and satisfying without being too heavy. I tried the new truffle base!

It’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing a casual meal with friends or just craving a comforting hotpot on your own. For the price you pay, the value is hard to beat. I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in the area.

I got the classic wagyu set with collagen soup, and they still hook you up with free ice cream. The soup's a bit salty for me, but man, the meat quality is top-notch, totally worth the price. And that ice cream? So good.
Not sure if they are new staffs but the service is a little slowwwww. Although, it's acceptable.

Wonderful staff and atmosphere, food is a bit on the pricy side (delicious, filling but the Yuzu soup base is not the best) but hey, the Sapporo is only 2.8$.. the set also comes with a soft serving ice cream..!!

The best Shabu in Phnom Penh, very fresh food with many choices of Wagyu like A4 or A5 and best of salmon & lobster also.
